Visa
How to apply for a visa
To make a valid application you must:
• indicate the class of visa that you want
• use the correct form or lodge an application via the internet (where applicable)
• provide your residential address
• pay the required charge (where applicable)
• send or deliver your application as instructed by the specific
visa application form, or contact the general enquiries line
for assistance.
Documents Required
1. The electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE) certificate(s) and/or letter of offer issued by
your education provider for the course(s) you are undertaking.
2. Visa application charge - credit card, debit card, bank cheque or money order.
3. If you are applying from outside Australia, four recent passport sized photographs
(45mmx35mm) of you and any other person included in the application. If applying in Australia,
only one photograph of each person is required.
- These photographs should be of the head and shoulders only against a plain
background.
- Print the name of the person on the back of each photograph.
4. You may be required to provide one of the following:
- medical and x-ray examinations for yourself and any family unit member planning to
remain with in you Australia
5. You must declare on your student visa application that you have sufficient funds to cover
yourself and your family members for the duration of your stay in Australia for:
-living costs
-tuition costs
-school costs for any school-aged children.
6. Supplementary Questionnaire to Form 157A
7. Completed 'details of relatives' form
8. IELTS test results
9. All original education documents including all mark sheets for Degrees
10. If you are invited to attend an interview, you must attend on the date and time agreed with the department.
